Having struggled for months with my overfriendly German Shepherd and not seeming to make much meaningful progress even after numerous trainers I stumbled across Katie who has been a godsend for helping me to better manage the chaos and giving me confidence to handle different situations and as a result I now have a much more obedient dog. She has always replied promptly to any training questions I've had and her methods are effective and have produced genuine results — she knows her stuff! What stands out is her calm energy when handling dogs and there is no other trainer I would trust with helping to train my dog. I highly recommend Katie

Katie is amazing with my XL Bully, Bear. He is very strong and weighs 60kg but Katie handles him with ease. He spent 2 weeks with Katie, whilst she trained him, and I had great communication throughout. It has been 18 months since the training, and Bear is still doing great. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with Bear, he is usually nervous around strangers but loves Katie. Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having worked with Katie previously to help with our dog reactive border collie. It was an absolute no brainier that there was no other trainer that I would trust to take care of our dog and our new addition, lab pup whilst we were on holiday. Katie has extensive knowledge of dogs and their behaviour, and deeply cares for each dog like they are her own. It was quite a daunting experience to leave our dogs for the first time, but Katie kept us updated daily with videos and messages. Which made our holiday more enjoyable. Our dogs were so well cared for and happy. Katie gives exceptional training/boarding I will never use anyone else. I truly can’t recommend Katie highly enough. Thank you Katie.

Had Katie train my dog few years ago come back to her to board for the weekend he remembers her house went right in he knew he was in good hands and so did I Katie posts videos every day so you see how your dog is doing can’t recommend her enough great service all round

A wonderful find - highly recommended. We were looking for our new place to leave our dog while on holiday, after being let down by our previous one we used. I was a bit anxious, especially as we were running out of time to find an alternative before our trip, which meant our dog Leo wouldn’t have much time to get to know Katie beforehand. But as soon as I met her I was instantly put at ease. Katie isn’t just someone that opens her home to dogs, she’s a proper trainer, which reassured me that Leo wouldn’t pick up bad habits while staying with her. While we were away she sent us daily updates with photos and videos of Leo having an absolute blast, something I really appreciated. It made all the difference knowing that he was happy and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be returning, highly recommended!

So glad we found Katie, we had a bad experience at previous doggy daycare which made us think Bert was naughty but the moment I spoke to Katie she immediately understood our needs. She understands dog behaviours and is so patient with Bert to the point she’s taught him new things! She combines fun, rest and learning at daycare which is exactly what our 15mth old English Bulldog needs being a stubborn breed. Thanks so much Katie.

We tried southeast k9 training for the 1st time for our puppy while we went on holiday for a week and I couldn't recommend them more. Great experience, updates everyday, slowly introduced our puppy to other dogs that was staying over and our puppy had the best time. Quick and efficient if you have any questions re dog training and very helpful. Will definitely be using them again

Southeast K9 training for boarding my staffie cross Luna has been such a wonderful experience. I was wary of boarding Luna in a kennel and when my dog trainer suggested boarding her here was in a home environment I was relieved. Katie has posted me photos and videos, while I was away, of my dog having fun with other dogs, playing with her and out for walks. I had no worries at all. Luna was given so much attention and care and even crate trained! When I picked her up she was so calm and adjusted there was no stress at all. I’ll definitely book again in the future.
